Yes. You have to log in to access your personalized trips.
With My Trips, you can elect to receive alerts on your phone for incidents on the roadway that you have signed up for as well as driving time information, if it is available on the segment that you selected through My Trips.
You can define a single e-mail address and/or a single phone number for each alert that you define.
Alerts are created when you are setting up your trips or later by clicking the "Trips" link on the left-side navigation of your My Trips home page. You can configure the time of day, day of week, and alert type that you wish to receive. Please refer to User Guide for details on how to set up alerts.
A typical alert lists your trip information including the trip name (e.g. "Home to Work"), the estimated driving times at the time the alert was sent on traffic segments where driving times are available, and incident information associated with each traffic trip.
Yes, you can always go back and change any of the available options for any of your alerts. You can also delete alerts that you no longer need. Access your alerts through the "Trips" link on the left-side navigation of your MY TRIPS home page.
The size of an alert depends on several factors: how many trips are defined and how many incidents are associated with each trip. A typical alert will contain 3 - 5 lines of information for each trip.
You can create alerts for traffic events based on different event categories and event severity levels.

My Trips is a service mark registered to TRI-STATE. The unauthorized use of My Trips is strictly prohibited.
As a consideration of your use of the Service, you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current, and complete information as required by the Site's registration forms (the "Registration Data") and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete. If you provide any information that is knowingly untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete; or if in providing such information you attempt to deceive TRI-STATE or other parties regardless of the purpose of this deception; or if TRI-STATE has reason to suspect that such information does not conform to these requirements, TRI-STATE may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service.

We need your name and e-mail address to identify you in the system and to communicate with you to verify the account, send any alerts for which you sign-up, provide warnings if one of your trips change, alert you if there has been no activity on the account, etc. Your information is kept secure and is never shared with anyone outside of the MY TRIPS services. You can read our Terms and Conditions here.
The confirmation e-mail may have been incorrectly identified as SPAM by your e-mail system. Check your junk e-mail folder to see if this has happened. If you don't find it there, you may have entered your e-mail address incorrectly. If your e-mail address was entered correctly, then you can request another confirmation e-mail sent to you by the My Trips service.
Your username is your email address that you used for registration. You can retrieve your password if you know the e-mail address you used when you registered. Click on the Forgot password link in the sign-in box on the My Trips welcome page.
Yes, under "Account Settings" there is "Delete Account" tab to remove your user information from the My Trips service. When you choose to be removed from the My Trips service, you will no longer be able to access your personalized MY TRIPS home page or get alerts on your phone. The "Account Settings" link is on the left-side navigation on My Trips page.
The current version of MY TRIPS does not allow for e-mail address changes since we have no way to verify a new one. If you need to change your e-mail address, please delete your current account and re-register or open a new My Trips account. We apologize for the inconvenience.
My Trips displays trips on your home page in alphabetical order, so your most recently added trip is not necessarily at the bottom of your trip list. Check your trip list again and search alphabetically for your trip name.
There are several reasons you may not have received any alerts. The first, and most common, is that the conditions you set for receiving the alert have just not occurred. For example, you may have not received alerts because the alert e-mail may have been incorrectly identified as SPAM by your e-mail system. Check your junk e-mail to see if this has happened. If you don't find it there, you may have entered the alert e-mail address incorrectly. If you have selected to receive e-mail text messages delivered to your phone, make sure you have entered your phone number correctly and that your phone supports receiving text messages.
